Since its founding in 2005, the Duck of Minerva has been home to many experiments.
Some failed, and were abandoned. Some succeeded, and were abandoned.
Given current uncertainties (and, let’s face it, “ick factor”) about Twitter, I thought it might be interesting to shift microblogging to… a blog.
We’ll see how this works. Or doesn’t.
In my opinion, micro blogs cannot achieve a more competent ALGORITHM, if I can define it that way. I work with a blog since 2008, it was an indication and guidance from a British friend because, in the beginning, the publications would already reach posts with more than 200 characters. Another advantage of blogs over microblogs is that, in terms of visualization and engagement, I managed to develop over these 14 years very efficient assistance and dissemination of the work. There is a cyclical disadvantage that must be considered in blogs, which refers to the fact that much more than describing and explaining, blogs can also cause a lack of interest in the audience if it does not keep their initiatives compatible with contemporary reality.
I’m definitely not sure what to think, but it should be interesting.
