Ben Francis is a PhD Candidate in Peace Studies and Political Science at the University of Notre Dame and currently a visiting scholar at Drexel University. Ben received his BA in International Relations and English Language from the University of Westminster and his MA in Global Development and International Political Economy from the University of Leeds. Ben has over a decade's experience working in the international aid sector, living and working in contexts such as Palestine, Libya, Afghanistan and Nepal. His research is broadly focussed on climate politics, gender politics and violence and his work has been published in Environment and Security. Ben uses a range of methods with a specialisation in using GIS analysis in his work.
