Trey is a Data Scientist with the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED). He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Mershon Center for International Security Studies (The Ohio State University) and received his PhD in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
His research interests include the dynamics and consequences of violence, mass atrocities, spatial analysis, and causal inference. His work has been published in Political Research Quarterly, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, Global Food Security, and Food Security, among other outlets. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Dayton.
